Our Mission Statement Our purpose is to promote the cognitive, physical, creative and social/emotional development of preschool children. We offer an integrated curriculum based on principles of early childhood development which integrates language arts, mathematics, science, art, music, drama, literature, health and physical education.
Families Own and Operate the School We are a cooperative preschool. You have the opportunity to be involved in your child's education. Experts agree that parental involvement in a child's education fosters high self-esteem and better school performance in the child. We also offer our preschool to a limited amount of children whose parents may not be able to participate in the cooperative arrangement, but want their children to enjoy the benefits of a cooperative preschool. We are governed by a Board made up of preschool parents. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin.
The Co-op Commitment * Parents are responsible to sign up for 5, 6 or 7 workdays for the entire school year, depending on if their child is in class for 2, 3, or 4 days. You will have the option to opt out of working these days with a fee of $30 per session not worked. * Parents are required to sign up to work 1 of the 2 yearly cleanings.
* Parents must attend both parent meetings and preschool orientation.
* Parents agree to provide a proportionate share of NUTRITIONAL snacks and drinks per semester. This includes, if you wish, a snack for your child's birthday which does not have to be nutritional.
* Parents are required to participate in the preschool's fundraisers or they may opt out by paying $30 per fundraiser missed.

We are a Church sponsored school, but are not affiliated with the Parchment United Methodist Church. We rent our classrooms from the Church and work cooperatively with them. We are a cooperative preschool governed by a Board made up of parents.
Out in the World We have several field trips each year. Some of our field trips include Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery, Gull Meadow Farms, Hardings Friendly Market, and the Kalamazoo Nature Center. We also have some visitors to the classroom such as a dental hygienist and the Bronson Poison Prevention Puppet Show. Our preschool also participates in the annual Kindleberger Festival Parade and has summer park get-togethers.
